Diner Dogs began with a hot dog cart, a family’s determination, and a community willing to support a new local business.
Richard Paul launched Diner Dogs on July 4, 2020. Through the challenges of starting a business during the pandemic, support from Kuna and Melba helped turn an idea into something lasting.
His wife, Kelly, joined full time in 2022 after decades in the grocery business. Together, they worked long days at the cart and dreamed of a place they could serve customers year-round.
On December 12, 2023, they opened the doors at 211 Carrie Rex Avenue. Today, Diner Dogs is still about good food, friendly service, and the people who make a small business feel like home.
